Another Intrusion of the Nanny-State
Since there is and has been grassroots opposition by citizens to the USDA’s imperious plans of the RFID Act for livestock and eventually pets implementation has lagged. The Nanny-State Bureaucrats have taken different tacks on getting this intrusive legislation passed in one way or another, whole or piecemeal. The latest incarnation of big government meddling is through animal cruelty prevention and intervention. Now this certainly has wide appeal, as no one, at least no one in their right mind, would knowingly, wantonly, and unnecessarily inflict pain on any other creature. Ostensibly this attempt is to win sympathy for the cause of animal anti-cruelty is a thinly veiled ruse to accomplish a much broader end of, yes, once again, controlling the food chain. The initial concept will start innocuously enough preventing cruelty, but will eventually get around to smallholdings, backyard homesteads, and small family farms. As the superficial suburban populace becomes conditioned by programs like the one below, it will be only a matter of time before home livestock slaughter and butchering becomes outlawed. Keep in mind that this is not legislation being proposed, but it is instead another USDA program designed as an end run around unpopular legislation and needless Congressional delay. Technically, it is bid solicitations to software producers to write programs to, in essence, spy on the sale of animals, pets, and livestock over the Internet. The regulated activities to monitor are grouped into the following seven modules:
- Sales of animals used as pets (all warm blooded animals);
- Sales of wild and exotic animals;
- Animals exhibited to the public for compensation;
- Animals used for research, teaching, testing, and experimentation;
- Commercial transportation of animals;
- Horse shows, sales, exhibitions, and auctions (such as Tennessee Walking Horses); and
- Animal auctions.
The stated objective of this bid is to provide internet surveillance/data mining for individuals that are conducting Animal Welfare Act or Horse Protection Act regulated activities domestically within the United States. Significantly the wordsmithing cleverly says for rather than on!
Folks, it seems that independent self-sufficient food production is being systematically undermined! From local legislation banning rainwater collection to backyard small animal husbandry, we are being forcefully bound to the restricting and unhealthy industrial food chain. Such onerous programs and the laws they implement fetter us further and increase our dependence on the Nanny-State to provide for our needs from cradle to grave. This of course, goes against every inherent fiber of human nature for liberty, freedom, and independence.
Keep in mind that there is little to stop this as it is not proposed legislation but rather a program under the USDA to implement already enacted laws. The only way to stop it is to restrict or defund such programs and this, in turn, is done through contact our Congressional Representatives …that is, if they will listen.

Gee! I wonder when they will implement Collective Farms and Five Year Plans?
Remember, to keep up your Rosaries for the Consecration of Russia as this is the only way to stop this symptom of the materialistic errors of Russia that Our Lady warned us about nearly one hundred years ago. Time is running out; especially when we consider that the bloody French Revolution occurred when France ignored heaven’s request to consecrate their nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus until it was too late.
Despite all the above I wish you all a Happy and Joyous Easter. Keep in mind by His Resurrection, Jesus has already defeated the enemy. It remains only for us to fight the Satan’s futile daily battles in imitation of Our Lord!
