Finally, Truth Be Told!

As I continue my introspection and study the Lives of the Saints I coincidentally came across the below video which details that far from the Dark Ages, Medieval Europe was actually a period bursting with  progress in building the greatest civilization the world has ever known, that is, Western Civilization. As I’ve always told my students the history of Western Civilization is the History of the Church. Without the Catholic Faith, we might still be worshiping trees and making needless and barbarian wars. Indeed, as the Post-Christian Era, as modern historians call it has taken root, we do again find ourselves worshiping trees and nature and conducting immoral, unjust, and barbaric wars around the globe.

I urge all the readership of Catholic Rural Solutions to view this very short video presented by a college professor to gain a real and unbiased perspective on Medieval Europe, The Church, and the rise of Western Civilization. This is especially important if you are a contemporary college graduate long subject to the secular propaganda of modern atheistic historians with an axe to grind against the Catholic Church and Faith. It will clear the cobwebs of their indoctrination from your minds.

About Catholic Rural Solutions

This group is for the practical application of Catholic Distributist teachings as promoted by Pope St. Pius X, Belloc, Chesterton, Maurin and others in the 20th century. This group is also a respite for traditional Catholics who adhere to the Tridentine Rite of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and who share a concern for small independent Catholic communities throughout the world. These communities while primarily small holding farmers, craftsmen and tradesman all espouse an integrated life based on Catholic Social Justice and the Sacred Magisterium of the Church. Through this we intend to inject the Distributist economic principles into the greater society. Please fell free to share your experiences in this vein. Flaming, proselytizing and persecution WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
