The Pope and the Altar Boy

Pope Francis Denigrates Piety and Reverence

Since being elevated to the Papal Seat, the Bishop of Rome seems to be doing all he can to expedite what is left of the dismantling of the Catholic Church. His latest is to rebuke a young altar boy for holding his folded hands in the traditional position of time-honored Catholic worship, that is, with hands together, fingers extended and held at an approximate 45° angle to the body. He mocks the humble and reverent altar boy by asking: are your hands bound together? …and then goes on to fold the boy’s fingers in the form of a conjoined fist.

Surely, the boy is more aware that such a posture of prayer is more fitting for the worship of God. Yet, the Pope seems oblivious to this. One wonders if he truly understands the Mystery of God made man, that is, the Word Incarnate, and all it implies. Since our outward disposition reflex our interior beliefs it would seem that the Holy Father may just consider Our Lord Jesus Christ as just another holy man, like Buddha, Mohammad, Mahatma Gandhi and so many other false prophets. By this simple admonition of an impressionable and humble altar boy, he speaks volumes.

How long, Lord …how long?

Note to Bishop Bernard Fellay, SSPX, abandon your design to unite your pious union of priests to the Novus Ordo; we can do much more good by being examples of true Catholicity by resuming our status as the conscience of the Church, rather than be swallowed up into the bowels of error and our effects negated by being subject to a corrupted hierarchy. Countless traditional souls are relying on you for orthodox Faith: do not abandon us! Let us resume our orthodox worship.

About Catholic Rural Solutions

This group is for the practical application of Catholic Distributist teachings as promoted by Pope St. Pius X, Belloc, Chesterton, Maurin and others in the 20th century. This group is also a respite for traditional Catholics who adhere to the Tridentine Rite of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and who share a concern for small independent Catholic communities throughout the world. These communities while primarily small holding farmers, craftsmen and tradesman all espouse an integrated life based on Catholic Social Justice and the Sacred Magisterium of the Church. Through this we intend to inject the Distributist economic principles into the greater society. Please fell free to share your experiences in this vein. Flaming, proselytizing and persecution WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
