Make the Sacrifice… Homeschool!

Make the Sacrifice… Homeschool!

For those reluctant to homeschool… for those who don’t feel qualified to teach their own children… for all those who “require” a second income in order to have an additional vehicle and an annual vacation away from home… I remind you that you are the primary teachers of your children. As such you will someday answer before the Throne of God for their spiritual and temporal care.

So saying here is just another in a series of articles that has been presented in Catholic Rural Solutions over the years. Consider it carefully and know that the pressure on the family to be agents of the state in raising the human resources of the state is increasing daily and geometrically. So it is important that Catholic parents not relinquish any further authority over their children but, in fact, reclaim the powers that have already been lost. A first step in this is to homeschool your children.

lockdownIn an effort to encourage all Catholic parents to undertake what may seem a Herculean effort here are 28 current events that have actually occurred in public schools that parents of a generation ago would not have tolerated. Also don’t fool yourself into thinking that this doesn’t affect your family because you send your kids to parochial schools, bear in mind that even private and religious schools participate in many state programs for both monetary grants or equivalents and to participate in standardized state testing because some parents cannot separate themselves from the secular world demanding such testing. As long as these private schools accept grants, money, and even books they are at the beck and call of the state. …it all comes down to the Golden Rule; he who has the gold makes the rules.

About Catholic Rural Solutions

This group is for the practical application of Catholic Distributist teachings as promoted by Pope St. Pius X, Belloc, Chesterton, Maurin and others in the 20th century. This group is also a respite for traditional Catholics who adhere to the Tridentine Rite of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and who share a concern for small independent Catholic communities throughout the world. These communities while primarily small holding farmers, craftsmen and tradesman all espouse an integrated life based on Catholic Social Justice and the Sacred Magisterium of the Church. Through this we intend to inject the Distributist economic principles into the greater society. Please fell free to share your experiences in this vein. Flaming, proselytizing and persecution WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
